Sao Paulo Fashion week

The following day Pandemonia and Snowy had arranged to meet
photographer Marina Melchers at the hotel.

Snowy and Pandemonia, immediately gravitated to Marina with her
orange/yellow punk hair and big smile.

Marina relayed toPandemonia & Snowy she had been assigned to
accompany them today, and do a fly on the wall picture diary of P&S on
location in Sao Paulo and at Melissa's first ever runway show.

Pandemonia and Snowy liked the idea of Marina on their tail.
So they gave Marina her first shot, that of Pandemonia and Snowy
returning to the Intercontinental hotel after their morning constitutional.

Next they all took their seats in the car, and it’s here Pandemonia and Snowy informed Marina of their itinerary this pleased Marina no end.

As art lovers the first place P&S felt morally obliged to revisit was Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo Assis Chateaubriand.

That done Pandemonia and Snowy sped off to Rua 25 de Marco, the cities wholesale shopping street.

Here P&S were curious to see all the miscellaneous products, toys; packaging; jewellery; clothes; bags etc sold there.

Pandemonia & Snowy took to the street and when asked paused to chat and pose for store owners & passers by.
Most of whom snapped P&S with their mobile phones.

Pandemonia noticed Snowy was in a hyper excited mood and when P turned spotted the reason.

A window display of plastic dolls in the Mil Presentes 1000 shop. Obviously P&S couldn't resist investigating this wondrous emporium of all things plastic.

Feeling all empowered and leaving Mil Presentes 1000, Pandemonia & Snowy took to their heels as did a local guy, who endeavored to keep in step with Pandemonia's long strides.

Pandemonia & Snowy, came to a stand still alongside another Melissa shoe fan.

This gal played public footsie with P much to the delight of the onlookers.
Many of whom captured the scene on their mobile phones.

Then as quick as a flash Pandemonia & Snowy quit the place and raced off to another of the capitals visual delights, the Mercado Municipal

and at the Barraca Do Juca stall, the sales team swamped Pandemonia and Snowy with affection.

Not wanting to be left out another bunch of burly looking stallholder lads surrounded them. This time from the Banco du Juca stand.
Pandemonia and Snowy were overwhelmed by their gentleness and tactile manner.

Out on the street Pandemonia remembered to call the Melissa team to say they would be early and really looking forward to seeing their show.

Pandemonia and Snowy fancied a quiet moment, so trouped off to the,Museu Padre Anchieta thinking there would be ideal place,
only to be mobbed by a horde of Spanish cultural tourists.

No visit to Sao Paulo would be complete for Pandemonia & Snowy without touching The First Stone of Sao Paulo.

That done, Pandemonia  &  Snowy scaled the steps of Catedral da Sé de São Paulo.

Exhausted, after gallivanting around the city Pandemonia and Snowy returned to hotel to freshen up, and prepare for the afternoon escapades.

With sun beating down Pandemonia selected a white dress with red accessories, an appropriate outfit for the afternoon sojourn.

First up, they ventured forth to the Municipal Paulo Machado de Carvalho,,

where at the farmers market stall Pandemonia and Snowy purchased a yummy pastel and sugar cane drink with lemon.

Now, fully fuelled Pandemonia & Snowy raced off to Sao Paulo Fashion Week, for Melissa first ever runway show.

Pandemonia and Snowy arrived at the SPFW entrance and immediately were whisked backstage at Melissa's.  There Pandemonia was interviewed pre Melissa fashion show by a stream of journalists one from FFW TV and another from FFW online.

Pandemonia & Snowy were literally lined up and photographed backstage by an army of press then ushered to the front row

and seated where a cute youngster slid up alongside P&S and mimed she'd like her pix taken with them.
P gave the girl Snowy and made her day.

From one cute female to another more grown up one, who seized the moment and embraced Pandemonia & Snowy, and as if on queue the light went down and the Orquestra Voadora of Rio de Janeiro struck up the ban and played various numbers throughout the Melissa multi cultural wardrobe show.

Post show, backstage, Pandemonia was arm in arm with Brazilian Singer Gaby Amarantos.

Gaby is a real live wire and in the excitement of meeting P&S started swinging poor Snowy about in the air, luckily for Gab that Snowy is a fully house trained pouch.

Pandemonia rescued Snowy just in time to thank the Melissa TV crew before jumping in the car back to their hotel to collect their thoughts.

Back at the hotel to Pandemonia and Snowy's two New Best Friends Luciano Machado de Jesus and Marina Melchers bade them a final fond farewell.

P&S wished there was room in their suitcases for them, but both their NBF knew that wasn’t the case.

So it was hugs all round and off to their suite, to prepare for their return journey. Time now to leave Sao Paulo's glorious sunshine and people behind.

Pandemonia and Snowy donned their party gear and headed to the Ponystep 6 issue celebratory bash.

The gig was held at the downstairs bar of Mr. Buckley, 277 Hackney Road.

Richard Mortimer and Pandemonia

Pandemonia & Snowy eased their way down the stairs and were met by the exuberant Editor-in-Chief of Ponystep Richard Mortimer.
Richard gave them a hearty welcome and then dashed off to the bar to fetch P a tipple.

Pandemonia and Eudardo de Mengalhaes

In the interim, Snowy & Pandemonia surveyed the premises, and were set upon by their Brazilian ally Eduardo Jordao de Magalhaes, Head of International Marketing and Communication for Melissa shoes. Eduardo asked them how was Sao Paulo fashion week for them. "We loved it" P replied.

Pandemonia and Felicity Hayward

The next encounter for Pandemonia and Snowy came in the form of plus size curvy model Felicity Hayward. Felicity took an immediate shine to Snowy. Not that S minded Felicity’s gentle touch.

Olivia Hicks and Pandemonia

Pandemonia detected Snowy’s testosterone making him hot under the collar, so P retrieved Snowy from Ms Hayward clutches and headed towards the exit door to cool S down only to be ambushed by two other comely gals, Olivia Hicks and her pal.
Olivia duly gave P her email address and whispered "I work on the door of Ovalspace the Arts/Music club and you both will be on the guest list forever".

Margi Clarke and Pandemonia

Pandemonia, Snowy were flattered and returned to their table, where they rubbed shoulders with actress/TV presenter Margi Clarke. Margi confessed to Pandemonia & Snowy, "the magazine has done me proud love"

As Snowy cuddled up to Margi, in breezed fashion designer Pam Hogg. Pam couldn't resist telling all and sundry "I made a decision to do a fashion show and I've got 4 weeks to pull everything together”.

Pandemonia exhausted by the thought of the mountain of work that awaited Pam, gathered up Snowy, waved goodbye to Daniel Lismore and David Motte grabbed a copy of the magazine and jumped a taxi.

Ponystep Magazine

In the cab Pandemonia leafed through the magazine pages that had articles mostly on blonds; with blond Holly Woodlawn the Andy Warhol superstar, actresses Gillian Anderson in blond wig, bottle blond beauties Margi Clarke and Amanda Lepore, and a black & white picture story of currently blond Kate Moss, Kate didn't need her St Tropez spray tan. All these images caused Pandemonia to recall her own exciting blond moments in life just as the cab pulled up to home.

Friday morning. Snowy woke and gave Pandemonia a gentle nudge, time to get ready. This was their first day out during London Fashion Week.

In the taxi Pandemonia checked the new hairdo in the mirror and re-arranged the new dress & Snowy's collar as they pulled up to Somerset House, for the 11am Felder & Felder show.

The show was taking place in a newly created space, deep down in the bowels of Somerset house.

This location in P's high heels proved to be more akin to Jules Verne "Journey to the Centre of the Earth".

At the space Pandemonia and Snowy were nestled between Hilary Alexander and Premier Model's new addition Harriet Verney.

Harriet was in a fabulous feathered dress.

The show theme was 'underwater', textures reflecting the ocean bed, coral reef and the odd reptile print thrown in for good measure.

Snowy, imagined Harriet entering the spirit of the concept and diving in like a hungry Humming bird, she didn't though - her wings were well and truly clipped.

Friday morning, Pandemonia and Snowy visited The Bloomsbury Set event in the magnificent BloomsburyCentral Baptist Church.

Here P&S avoided the stairs and took the lift to the lower ground floor to view the Spring/Summer 2014 collections by fashion and accessory designers;

Age-Of Reason-Studio: Duecci ; Karen K: Mymink : Mylovemyleggings: Nico Didonna: Pritch-London and 3 star ex graduates Andreas Feet Martinsen, Helena Dillon and Jorn Olsthoorn

And sample the Lavolio delicious hand made confectionery.

Ali Taylor Mapletoft from Ageof Reason Studio, cornered Pandemonia and Snowy and thrust into P's hand an invite to the Karen K show,

Upon which Pandemonia and Snowy produced their own. The Lebanese supermodel Karen El-Khazen is a very dear pal and they wouldn't have missed the Karen K runway show at 4pm for anything

Karen K show was an entertainment extravaganza; models with elongated sleek pony tails created by L'Oreal Professionnel UK hair art team, spearheaded by Luke Plucukrose & Tom Berry from Saks.

The girls came strutting out in bright swimmer, accessorised by Karen K shoes, bags and cuffs.

Much to the delight of Karen's ritzy customer base.

For the finale, Karen ditched her swimsuit for a floor length red dress with Gladiator sandals, perfect for hot sultry nights in exotic places.

Although, the introduction of a model in a gas mask threw poor Snowy for six.

Post show, Pandemonia was introduced by Cristina Polizzi to there latest fan, Massimiliano Mazzanti, the Italian General Consul.

Clutching a bottle of the latest water on the market Iskilde form Aqua-Amore P&S left for the Fashion International multi brand show.

At The Charing Cross Hotel a group of designers were showcasing in the Betjeman Suite.

Pandemonia and Snowy had only just sat down and out popped designers collection from AGA, Dee Duce, Gianni Lilliu, Wajahat Mirza and Yuvna Kim

Yuvna detailed crafted unlined lace dresses, were a bit risque for 4 year old Snowy's innocent eyes.

At the VIP cocktail party afterwards, Pandemonia and Snowy met Iman Sid who declared "you're the most amazing looking couple I've ever seen"

P&S thought what a great compliment coming from the author of "Miss Manners" .

Then Snowy's head started nodding, a sign for home time and good night sleep so as to be fresh for the following day's 'a la mode gad about' .

Pandemonia and Snowy had a bit of a lay in, knowing they had a long day ahead, dressed, then ready to face the world, they headed off.

Their first port of call was at the Bloomsbury Set Event, for Nico Didonna 1pm show.

On hand to give P&S the latest update, was their soul mate Cristina Polizzi.
Cristina said "this season, Nico has teamed up for 2 time, with accessories designer Nadia Minkoff London, who will provided the jewelry and bags".

Pandemonia and Snowy sat next to, Nico who did a quick hello to P&S and singer Beverley Knight & her posse, then raced backstage. Nico ran out, his staple diet of elegant silk jersey dress, tailored jackets and skirts & pants, paired beautifully glass-beaded earrings and matching necklaces, Nadia's homage to ancient princesses gems.

Next up at BSE, was Pritch-London 4am runway show.
This season the label designer Arina Pritch pulled out all the stops. Aided and abetted by Hair by Ollie Blackaby and Headmasters team for L'Oreal Professionnel UK. http://www.headmasters.com/

Plus her favourite sidekick and international DJ, Sacha Muki. Sacha had flown in from South of France and played a live set, directly after the church organist classical intro to Arina's show.

Culminating a electrifying runway show, featuring intricately cut jackets made out of the finest summer weight leather in on trend colours that won rapturous applause.

At the Ptich-London post show reception, Pandemonia and Snowy were treated to delicious red wine courtesy of Enologia.

The wine perked P&S up for their next jaunt to the Charing Cross Hotel, for the second batch of designers at Fashion International show. Feeling a little peckish Snowy and Pandemonia made a detour to TV chef Enzo Oliveri’s gaff. Fratelli La Bufala 40 Shaftesbury Avenue, W1D 7ER.
After they'd been fed and watered P&S said their goodbye's to cooks and hopped a cab to CCH.

In the hotel show space fashion designer Yuvna Kim spotted Pandemonia and Snowy. Yuvna, divulged  "I missed the chance to chat with you fabulous pair yesterday evening and want to say you’re amazing".  P&S thanked her for the compliment & took their seats.

There they found themselves next to the statuesque fashion designer Nina Nuastdal.
Nina enquired, "have you both received my invite to the Amy Winehouse charity fundraiser show I’m doing at Mayfair Hotel on the 19 September". P&S responded with a nod and lights went down and music went up a notch, for Gianni Lilliu to parade his latest collection. A sight that threw Snowy, having seen this Gianni's line the night before?

This was then followed by Luna Sky collection and then Pakistani designer Omar Mansoor.
At the post VIP after show party 90s singer Shola Ama, actress Elaine Cassidy & stylist Angharid Merry rubbed shoulders with the designers.

And Pandemonia took a look at the clock and whisked up Snowy & headed for the exit. Only to be stopped in their tracks by the lumbering fashion designer Omar, who collared P&S for quick snap in the hallway. P&S did the dead and then raced outside, to catch a cab for home, knowing they needed to be fit for following days activities.

Pandemonia and Snowy grabbed their suitcases & made haste to Heathrow Airport to catch their flight to Madrid, Yes, Madrid, where the P&S were invited to appear as a star guests on the Alaska Y Coronas Television show show..

The sun was shining brightly that day, so after unpacking at their hotel, Pandemonia plumbed for day time ensemble, a bronze and pink dress, with red accessories and Melissa shoes..

Dressed, Pandemonia and Snowy proceed on a whistle-stop, sight seeing tour of the Spanish capital..

Their first stop, was the Museum Thyssen Bornemisza. Where, Pandemonia and Snowy's  had a rendezvous with their new best friend, Gema, the museum's press officer.

While waiting for Gema to appear, Pandemonia and Snowy were mobbed at the information desk by Spanish ladies. These charming women wanted to pose and have their picture taken with P&S. While they snapped each other, they all kept saying "muy hermosa" the English translation is (very beautiful).

As soon as the mujeres stopped a bunch of Spanish teenagers jumped in on the act. And they chorused "que guapa" the pretty one..

Gema arrived and whisked Pandemonia & Snowy away, to the upstairs gallery space to see the El Greco masterpieces masterpieces. It's there that P&S were got so absorbed by El Greco, technical showpieces currently on loan, that P&S failed to notice time was slipping by..

So they snapped out of it, and headed off to the Prado Museum. Firstly to take in the Velazquez monument.

While marvelling at Velazquez landmark, Pandemonia and Snowy were set upon by fellow artist Neil Clarke. Neil said to Pandemonia "I love your whole look, you are fabulous"  and then gently clutched Snowy & threw himself at Pandemonia feet.

Pandemonia retrieved Snowy and made their way to the Pardo exhibition entrance, only to discover, P was having a blond moment, and had forgotten to take a the ticket at the entrance.

P&S eyes were then drawn by the magnificent San Jeronimo El Real Church.  The church is nestled, a few meters away  from the PM entrance & so they decided to view that edifice instead.

That done, Pandemonia and Snowy nipped across town, to visit Real Madrid football grounds. Sadly for Snowy, his favourite soccer player Christiano Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen. As if to compensate for CR absence, the Real Madrid fans flocked around to say hola.

Pandemonia and Snowy bundled back into the taxi, for their next port of call, Plaza de Toros de las Ventas. This is one of the most famous Bullrings in Spain, not that Pandemonia & Snowy wanted to see a bull fight. They'd heard so much about the buildings grandeur, they just wanted to see the structure for themselves. And they weren't disappointed.

Turning to leave, Pandemonia and Snowy bumped into another Madrid ally, Marta Nebot Oliete. Marta is a key production gal at T2, who confessed "all the team are looking forward to meeting you both tonight"  Then she zoomed off back to the studio, in her car.

No self respecting person could go to Madrid without visiting the Palacio Real de Madrid. So Pandemonia and Snowy did their duty, only to find the Royal family not at home.

So, they headed back to the hotel for  well deserved rest and to change into something more appropriate for tonights show.

Pandemonia and Snowy settled on a lime green and teal dress & accessories with pair of  Melissia shoes. Satisfied with their reflection in the mirror, they jumped in a cab to the TV studios.

In Pandemonia and Snowy's dressing room at the studios, Alaska the TV presenter and Interviewer dropped by for pre show chat and to get her picture with  P&S.

A few minutes later, P& S get another visit. Only this time, from Spain's top DJ's and all round party animals Pepino Marino Y Crawford.

And as soon as they left, the Spanish interpreter Ruth Vercuil Stonehouse arrived for de briefing. Upon seeing Snowy, Ruth pledged undying love for him and asked could she have a picture. Ruth's passion, struck a cord in Pandemonia's heart, knowing Snowy was in good hands. Then the production team came to collect Ruth.

Then it was Pandemonia & Snowy turn, to be led by the production team, to the studio set.

Only on route P&S were stopped in their tracks by co-host Javier Cornonas. Javier blurted out "Thank you both for coming"

At last P&S walk on set, and were greeted, to tumultuous applause  by the live studio audience.   Over the 14 minutes interview with Alaska, Pandemonia talked about who and what P represents as an art form. As the minutes closed the end of the interview, Pandemonia introduced Snowy to Alaska & the audience responded with spontaneous applause.

Interview over, Alaska presented Pandemonia with a painting by Argentinan artist Darío Adanti.

It was now way past 11.30, and P thought it was time to put Snowy to bed, after a enthralling day & night out in Madrid.

Arts for India 2013

Snowy was in excited mood as Pandemonia selected the appropriate attire for tonights outing.

Dressed, P& S, headed to Arts for India Diwali Celebration Exhibition and Auction, at The House of Diwali, at Kent House, Knightsbridge.

Exiting the cab Pandemonia checked Snowy's red collar and straightened out the bronze dress & the red accessories.

Meter high pillars, with real flames gushing out of metal earns, flanked them on the way in.

P&S felt a tad nervous having to navigate this flaming entrance, in high heels.

However mission accomplished and safely inside the magnificent kent House building, Snowy felt completely relaxed.

Even more so, when P&S were given an open armed welcome from the Chairman of AFI and well respected philanthropist Satish Kumar Modi.

This greeting was followed by another cordial reception by Royce Angelo. Royce confessed to Snowy & Pandemonia. "I first carved out a name as events organiser for Weddings, no-a-days I'm focusing more high profile related events, such as this evenings gig.
Before Pandemonia could utter a word of praise, Royce thrust a glass of bubbly in to P's hand and was off, leaving P&S with a elegant blond bombshell with equally quietly spoken voice, so that neither P nor S got her name.

Moving further inside the venue, P&S met the unreserved and exuberant ladies, Sabina Sarikhani and Kalpana Shali.

Kalpana rocked up in a sari from Pakistan, one Snowy thought looked the business.

In the reception room, Pandemonia and Snowy met the Chairman's adorable wife Abha Modi, decked out the family jewels.

Snowy flipped out at Abha diamond and emerald bracelet, and dreamed of the day when he'd have a collar to match it.

Pandemonia clicked glasses at the bar with kind hearted Caroline Curtis.  Caroline whispered into Snowy's ear "I'm off to Delhi to see the 200 bears I have saved from Dancing with Bears".

Snowy shuddered at the thought of those poor creatures and counted his blessings, he's got good home.

Pandemonia next bar companions, were Kishore & Kiran Shah.
This couple embraced P&S and said "we've not got anything like you in India, your amazing".

Moving on, P&S headed to the stairs for the auction space.

On the stairway they met Svetlana, in a floor length fitted black dress with wide open lace panel running down the contours of her body.
A vision that sent Snowy's testosterone to outer-limits.

The auction room Snowy & Pandemonia entered, had a Alice in Wonderland red & white squared tiled dance floor.

Taking in the sights to, was Lalit Kumar Modi.
Lalit is listed in top 20 most influential person's in India and accompanying him was his son Ruchir.
Ruchir, told Pandemonia I'm studying business at University and enjoying it".
Snowy's estimation of Ruchir, was he's going to be a chip off the old block.
So watch this space.

As Pandemonia waiter eased his way over with to freshen up P bubbly.
Ciara Hurley-Stewart from Asprey London, bumped P by accident, with her Chanel bag.
Ciara explained to Pandemonia her reason for being her.
"I'm here because if any of the guests buy a piece from our displays tonight, a percentage will go to the charity".

From one fine jeweller seller, to a couple of customers, Fleur Platow & Mrs Abha Modi.
Fleur's exquisite small drop diamond earrings, were the subject of conversation with P.
"When I bought them my husband thought they looked like crystal" said Fleur.
Luckily for him Fleur knows her onions.

From two mates to three chums out on the town Atul Seth, Luissa Burton & George Jatania.
These three Snowy had seen arriving earlier and they joined Pandemonia & Snowy, for a drink a snap and then returned to eyeballing the Art.

Next up, Pandemonia and Snowy got to chatting with artist Christina Pierce and her son Oska Kolk.

Oska, told P&S "I'm a cricket obsessive and cajoled my mum into painting oil on canvas, the Indian cricketers, from Sachin Tendulkar, to Rahul Dravid to the Champions Trophy Winning Team 2013 on sale tonight".

Snowy spotted Oska later, flogging his mum The Art of Cricket Year book and Desk Diary for £24.95, with 10 percent of the sales going to AFI.

Having stood for an age Pandemonia and Snowy retreated to the sofa, and sat next to Marianne Advani.

Pandemonia and Snowy were humbled by Marianne after discovering all the incredible fundraising she does for children.

A lively spirit was introduced into the evening by Philippe Deneux & Kimberlery Robonson Ortiz.

Kimberlery let slip to Pandemonia "my life now is spent jetting between New York and London".

A sentence that had Snowy turning green with envy.

KR chat about her jet set lifestyle sent Pandemonia Snowy catapulting back to the sofa where they plonked down next to artist Aisha Caan.
Aisha informed P&S " I've given 2 of my oil and mixed media on canvas paintings for tonights charity cause"

Pandemonia and Snowy were again shaken out of their calm to join JP Morgan bank girls about town, Karislma Narsana Alia Nawaz. To listen to the formidable tones of Lord Jeffery Archer.

Jeffery was here to entice the guests into spend their wonger on the various items donated. So that for others less fortunate than themselves, can have a better life.

No Indian event would be complete without some dance.

Show over Pandemonia thought its getting way passed Snowy's bed time.
So they made a b-line for the stairs, where blocking their way was Axel Ienna accompanied by two arm candy female companions.

Axel divulged to P "London City Airport Jet Centre, has now become a walk through art gallery, it kicked off in July, with an exhibition of the work by Italian artist Carlo Gavazzeni Ricordi and you must come & see".

Pandemonia & Snowy, promised they would and side stepped Axel, to bid farewell to Karan Modi with his elegant wife Surbhi.
In the cab, Snowy communicated P it would be great to have Surbhi curate Pandemonia show, knowing Surbhi is a fellow artist and one with taste, if her exquisite sari from Delhi is a bench mark to go by……

April adventures

A 7pm shout at Hotel Cafe Royal for a guided tour by Dilou Haddou, The Hotel Cafe Royal, Club Operations Manager.

Yes folks the 5 star luxury hotel is going have a private members bar, one for the more creative discerning customer, and who better to fill those shoes than Pandemonia& Snowy a real pair of arts lovers.

During the tour, Pandemonia and Snowy only just managed to poke their heads around the door of the magnificent Grill rooms to be greeted by Linda Hugo & her boss John Calleija, of Calleija pink Diamonds.

John confessed "I'm paying a flying visit to London for a week and it's a real pleasure to meet you both" Snowy left yearning for a pink diamond collar, as they hit the stairway to the first floor.

Pandemonia and Snowy were then shown story boards and then the spaces on the first floor that will be transformed into this new watering hole. After all this thirsty work, they decamped to the Hotel's bar, where over a glass of bubbly and a still water for Snowy they met Anthony Lee. Anthony is the Hotel's GM who asked "how do you like the hotel" Pandemonia and Snowy nodded and replied "very much"

The follow night was taken up with a visiting Ryan Stanier, Director of Other Art Fair at the launch, Ambika P3, 35 Marylebone Rd, underground space.

Here Pandemonia and Snowy paused on the industrial staircase and scanned the show, and marvelled at over 90 artists exhibiting their wares.

Then Pandemonia and Snowy descended to the main floor and were besieged by fellow artist Toni Gallagher and Martin Vintner-Jackson.

Toni said to P&S "you look amazing, can I have my pix with you" They obliged, then Pandemoina retrieved Snowy from Martin to see the exhibition.

As, Pandemonia and Snowy wandered into the show, they were held up again this time by exhibiting artist Claire Robinson. Claire RobinsonClaire too, asked may I have my picture taken with P&S and they both consented and left wishing her well flogging her prints.

Pandemonia and Snowy eventually arrived at Nina Fowler stand. Nina took an immediate shine to Snowy and exploded with laughter. While Pandemonia cast an eagle eye over Nina's dark signature technique of Hollywood greatest stars imagery, frowned upon by some and loved by others in the art world.

Nina's exuberance brought executive Director Hi Sushi Events Geoffrey Leong's attention to the stand. Here, Geoffrey hooked up with his long lost pals Pandemonia & Snowy. And after a quick catch up about what P&S had been up to since the photographer Ellen Von Unwerth's Ellen von Unwerth
calendar launch bash. Geoffrey, then cajoled Pandemonia and Snowy into joining him and his team mate Gwen for some delicious sushi, at their make shift kitchen in the VIP area.

Pandemonia and Snowy had only just finished eating when Snowy turned & spotted designer David Courts.
For those Rock and Roll fans, David and Bill Hackett were the design duo who made the 1978 Keith Richard's iconic scull ring. Now-a-days Snowy discovered that David's rock days have been replaced by a wife and a teenage son.

Snowy's conversation came to an end when artist Bob Aldous fans pleaded with Pandemonia and Snowy to pose for pic with Bob on his stand. After being papped.

Pandemonia decided two late nights out in a row was a bit too much for Snowy, so P swooped up S and headed to the exit. They choose to stop, this time out of a concern for passionate art fan, blindfolded and with headphones and holding onto a length string. Snowy and Pandemonia felt it was their moral duty to wait and if necessary guide him passed the bollard. However, the guy managed on his own initiative and continued safely on his journey.

Pandemonia and Snowy took a deep breath and returned to task in hand - getting out only to be blocked by visiting Mixed Media Artist Michelle Deyna-Hayward and her blond hair chum Steph Harham. Steph & Michelle said to Pandemonia and Snowy "you two are fabulous, we have to start coming to London more often, we don't see the likes of you two in Colham, Cambridgeshire"

On that note, Pandemonia and Snowy thanked them, posed for their snap and eventually piled into a cab for home off for a spot of light bedtime reading.

Claudia Chaseling - Gallery Kornfeld

Friday; Pandemonia and Snowy woke at the crack of dawn to finish packing their essential wardrobe before their flight to Berlin for Art Gallery Weekend.

Arriving in Berlin, the inclement weather didn't damp Pandemonia and Snowy's high spirits.
They dumped their belongings at the hotel suite and did a quick tour of some of the fifty galleries showing this weekend (incognito of course) and returned to the hotel to unpack and take a leisurely rest.

Later feeling refreshed, Pandemonia and Snowy went through their various outfits and selected a Chinese Persimmon orange ensemble, a pair of Melissa Estrelicia white coloured shoes and matchin gloves, and a pair of Diesel ochre framed sunglasses, after a satisfactory mirror check, they were ready to face the world.

The rain had stopped when Pandemonia and Snowy bundled into the taxi, heading for artist Claudia Chaseling's private view at the Gallery Kornfeld - grand opening of their new Projectspace at Fasanenstraße 68.

Once inside the space, Pandemonia & Snowy got to meet Berlin's paparazzi first hand, followed by the Galerie Kornfeld co-owners Freddy Kornfeld and Mamuka Bliadze who stepped up to greet P&S.

Freddy and Mamuka were genial hosts and introduced Pandemonia and Snowy to one of their long standing friends -Peter Boragno and a newbie pal Savros Efremidis.

Peter confessed to Pandemonia "my profession is to organise cultural bashes, he went on to explain "I was called in to put this event together" whilst handing a glass of bubbly into Pandemonia.

That done, Mamuka introduced P&S to the artist of the night the talented Claudia Chaseling.

Claudia said she spent the previous night putting the final touches of the painted piece of work behind them, (a wall and floor space that measured 5.1816 meters long x 2.7 metes wide) and then introduced P&S to her partner, fellow artist Milovan Markovic. Snowy recognised Milovan, who's been described as the father of Transfiguration Painting and the Text Portrait by the art world.

The next person Snowy & Pandemonia encountered was Sophie Moos. Before Sophie clung to P, Snowys eye's popped at the sight of Sophie's fabulous diamond band ring on her right hand, one that wove its merry way up her finger.

From one eye-catching object to another, actor Stephan Luca. Stephan told Pandemonia "you're a spectacular vision of beauty and I'd love to drive you around the city tomorrow to show you the sights" P&S couldn't refuse such a kind offer. And agreed to meet the following day.

All dialogue ended with Stephan when Pandemona and Snowy were mobbed by 3 blonds, Julia Luca, Susanne Steinkraus, Christine Heinz. These girls were here to party and they wanted P&S to join them. "Later" was Pandemonia's reply, "I must see the show first". That said, the trio ran off to the bar, leaving P&S to their own devices.

Pandemonia & Snowy didn't get to take one step forward before being stopped by London ex model Belinda Wilson. Belinda was so taken by Pandemonia and Snowy and Claudia's artwork that she burst out saying "I've got go back to my hotel and get my camera" Off she went, scurrying back to get her lens.

Pandemonia & Snowy turned around and walked over to shifty another of Claundia's wall paintings, this one was as wide as a door and ran down the wall and half way across the floor.

It was Snowy who now interrupted Pandemonia's train of thought having sniffed out another canine in the vicinity. Pandemonia obliged Snowy by vacating the spot and turning his attention to dog in question and was pleasantly surprised to find the pedigree hound accompanied by Karsten Kiss, a Berlin photographer who tipped up with his soul-sister Antje Forgo from Licht & Linie. A doggy moment and a pix followed..

Pandemonia and Snowy were drawn to the gallery's right hand gal Hannah Linder, and Camilla Douraghy, Ingrid Manthe & Mamuka Bliadze obliged the gang with a quick snap, before P&S resumed their gallery tour.

Turning away Pandemonia and Snowy were hijacked again, this time by dashing young lad Natanel Ansorg with his mum Sigal & dad Karl.
Natanel wanted himself and his family in on the picture and used his magnetic charm on P&S to get it.
During the shot Natanel held Snowy ever so gently, Snowy concluded that the lad has all the attributes of a real gent.

Pandemonia and Snowy had another quiet interlude where they were able to get up close and inspect the details of one of Claudia's paintings on canvas.

Pandemonia and Snowy then turned to scan the intricacies of a larger triptych canvas landscape painting only to be asked to pose by a pap photographer.

This larger than life triptych canvas piece met with Snowy's approval. As they weaved their through the Projectspace labyrinth, passing the three separate lounge rooms with white cube tables and Philip Stark Clear Ghost chairs they eventually entered the designated dance area space.

There Pandemonia and Snowy caught up as promised with the blonds and their male party animal pals.
The DJ was pumping out Snowy's favourites vibes including "Happy" by Pharrell Williams and David Guetta's modern anthem "Lose Control".

Pandemonia hadn't realised the time, it had flown by so fast, it was almost Midnight and way passed Snowy's bedtime
P clasped Snowy closer and they ran the gauntlet of the exuberant guests heading for the exit before Snowy lost control too.

Pandemonia hopped a taxi, safely back at the Hotel and in their suite P tucked Snowy into bed and crawled away to leaf through the guide book on Berlin and ear mark locations for tomorrows excursion with Stephan and the crew.

A day in Berlin

Saturday, after a hearty German breakfast Pandemonia and Snowy were fully fortified.
Looking out their window seeing the sun shining down, they decided it was ideal weather conditions for a city hike.
Pandemonia and Snowy got decked out in appropriate garb; Snowy in a chocolate brown collar; P a baby pink, light caramel and chocolate brown day dress, accessorised by a chocolate brown bag, Balenciaga sunglasses and a pair of Vivienne Westwood/ Melissa shoes. This was followed by obligatory Mirror check.

Pandemonia and Snowy then jumped a cab rendezvousing at the Galerie Kornfeld, Kunsthandel Fasanenstraße 26, 10719 Berlin.

Snowy and Pandemonia waited patiently at the entrance to the gallery for Freddy to take them in and show them around.

Inside the gallery, Pandemonia and Snowy joined the visiting art enthusiasts and viewed the works of Hurbert Scheibl, Babylon, Thomas Paul all exhibiting.

During a silent moment when Pandemonia and Snowy paused to reflect on what they'd seen, Snowy realised late comers had mistaken them both as sculptures. How bizarre!

Outside the gallery while Pandemonia and Snowy scanned the street looking for their guide the actor Stephan Luca.

A cyclist stopped and said "you're beautiful, perfect in every way, so beautiful" Flattered Snowy stuck his nose out and was promptly met with tickle under his chin.

Pandemonia spotted Stephan and sped off in a 4x4 vehicle to the first of the Berlin landmarks - the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.

Saturday shoppers did a double take,as Snowy and Pandemonia sashayed by, arm in arm with their handsome city guide Stephan. Back in the car, on the way to the Brandenburg Gate, Stephan let it slip "I'm in a mini TV series The Crimson Field playing Anton Ehrlich"
Snowy decided when he gets home, he's going to iplayer and watch Stephan in action.

At the Brandenburg Gate, Snowy was blow away not as you'd expect by the gate but at the sight of his new best friend Freddy Kornfeld. Freddy gave S a gentle squeeze while inviting Pandemonia and Snowy to accompany him to Gallery Weekend Berlin cocktail that night at the old Berlin Airport Tempelhof. P&S replied "we'd be delighted"

photo: Camilla Douraghy

Pandemonia and Snowy excused themselves when brother and sister act sidled up next to them, neither spoke English. However they mimed they wanted their picture taken with them and P&S obliged.

As they turned to leave, they were held up by Fatima and her charming girlfriends, all of whom wanted their picture taken together too. P&S felt compelled to do so.

photo: Camilla Douraghy

Moving away from the gate, Pandemonia and Snowy spotted Freddy's gallery car but were perplex as to where Freddy was!

No matter, the ever dependable Stephan was on hand and knowing P&S both have a natural attraction to towering beauties he whisked Pandemonia & Snowy to Fernsehturm the fourth tallest freestanding structure in Europe.

After Pandemonia and Snowy had seen the Fernsehturm, the rays of midday sun made them uncomfortable. In the square outside P&S, scanned the horizons for Stephan to escape the heat.

Unbeknownst to them Stephan was close by and intuitively sensed their plight & swept Snowy and Pandemonia off their feet and back to the airconditioned car.

photo: Camilla Douraghy

They traveled next to East Side Gallery - Berlin Wall and it was here Pandemonia and Snowy had a heart to heart with Stephan, and P&S discovered Stephan to be a real gentleman, open minded and with a love of life.

photo: Camilla Douraghy

Their confab was disrupted by an eager couple wanting to immortalise their visit to Berlin with a picture of Pandemonia, Snowy and the Wall.

This sparked off a crowd of onlookers and Pandemonia and Snowy's pals entered into the spirit of the moment, out came the mobile phones and cameras.

Snapping over, Pandemonia and Snowy did a final lap of the wall and then toddled off back to the hotel to freshen up for evening.

In their suite, Pandemonia and Snowy prepared for the evening's outing. P selected a cobalt blue dress, a pair of Estrelicia Melissa shoes, and Swarovski sunglasses& Snowy a matching collar for the night ahead.

In the hotel lobby their chaperon Freddy Kornfeld ushered Pandemonia and Snowy outside to the waiting cab, one that ferried them to Gallery Weekend Berlin cocktail at Tempelhof.

The cocktail party was heaving with 1.500 guests, including Gallery owners, artists, collectors, Journalists, and over a glass of bubbly Freddy extended the invite to come back to his apartment.
Snowy gave Pandemonia the nod, having been tipped off earlier by Mamuka Bliadze, Freddy's business partner, that he was expecting at least 30 other guests for light finger food super and drinks. They arrived back in the centre of Berlin, and found themselves in a swank art dealers apartment, and it was just as Mamuka said buzzing with warm friendly art lovers.

Towards the end of the night Snowy led the party pack for one last photo opportunity, then Pandemonia scooped up S, waved a fond farewell and thanking their hosts and guests for a wicked weekend in Berlin, they raced back to the hotel to pack in preparation for their am flight back to London.

After several hours of umming and arring, Pandemonia and Snowy decided what to take to Amsterdam, then they packed everything ready for their trip.

British Airways were very accommodating, and Pandemonia and Snowy arrived at the capital's hidden gem, Hotel Toon, Utrechtsestraat 18, Old Centre, Amsterdam, 1017 VN.

Hotel co-owner Sal Knuvers personally greeted them and showed them to their spacious suite.

The following morning, Snowy was quick off the mark and had the red collar on at the blink of an eye. Pandemonia smiled at him and slipped on the vibrant pink and lime green dress with tomato red band, matching red handbag, gloves and a pair of high heel peep toe Melissa shoes, and cherry picked some Balenciaga sunglasses. A once over in the mirror they were ready to face the day.

At the Hotel cafe, Pandemonia and Snowy had a cup of tea and a 9am interview with journalist Christel Don. Christel it transpired was an in depth reporter who viewed this assignment seriously and asked pertinent questions, in an attempt to get insight into Pandemonia the artist for NRC Hollands quality broadsheet newspaper.

The hour long interview flew by and came to an end in time for the hand over to Annemarie Van Gerrevink co-owner of Pup Creative Agency. Pup Creative Agency

Annemarie pulled out her laptop and showed Pandemonia and Snowy a break down of the day's schedule. That done, they had time for a brief photo call for all concerned, this pleased Sal, who found himself to be the male centre of attention.

Pandemonia and Snowy were delighted with Annemarie's calm professional approach and explained they couldn't pass the day without popping heads around the door of Museum Bags and Purses, to say hi to the staff, Berenice Beaumont and Jacquline Van Maaren, having made a promise the night before.

Once inside the museum Pandemonia & Snowy were captivated by the vast collection of bags, from spooky skeleton doggie bags on the ground floor to Louis Vuitton trunks and 1930's plastic bags on the second floor.

Plus, a rare full beaded Katerine Baumann "Diet Coke" Minaudiere Evening purse, and in the same cabinet the world famous Judith Leiber cupcake purse the sister to Patricia Field's choice for the pivotal wedding scene in "Sex and The City" movie.

Adrenaline fix over, it was time to leave the museum. Pandemonia and Snowy stepped outside and behold the chauffeur of Uber car's on hand to ferry them to the studio They were driven post haste to Studio Witman Kleipool.

On arrival Pandemonia and Snowy were greeted by the Pup Magazine creative team, all keyed up and ready to shoot Pandemonia and Snowy for Pup Magazines second bumper issue Snowy discovered is to be released 20th of June.

The magazine's Creative Director Thamar Luthart took one look at the Pandemonia test shot in daywear and pulled out a portrait image from June issue mock-up, and after a confab with the photographer Romy Treebusch, they were unanimous. The red gloves next to Pandemonia's face was an ideal fit with the mag layout. All that was required to fit the remit was a change of sunglasses, Diesel sunglasses replaced the Balenciaga, and the team commenced firing on all cylinders.

Photo: Manoah Biesheuvel

The fever pitch shoot captured on film, by Manoah Biesheuvel, the city's top film maker, who was quietly looming in the background.

Red shot over, there was an intermission during which, Pandemonia and Snowy changed into their next ensemble. Pandemonia reached for the canary yellow fitted dress, bag, vintage shoes from Camden and Vans sunglasses, Snowy's donned a coordinating collar. They returned to the scene of the crime and everyone snapped back into work mode.

As a consequence of the teams keen diligence the shoot was running way ahead of schedule. The next stop gap was when Pandemonia had to change into another outfit. This time Pandemonia plumbed for a the cobalt blue, deep V-neck, A-line dress, matching bag and Melissa Estrelicia shoes and Snowy added his collar too.

And before they resumed Anne Mestrom PR guru from Ganbaroo PR showcases halted proceedings to enable journalist Georgette Koning a 30 minute interview. Georgette thanked Pandemonia and Snowy for being punctual and let slip "I'm flying out of the country in a couple of hours to interview someone else". Georgette asked for a quick snap and proceeded to rush out the door.

Pandemonia and Snowy returned to finish the shoot which ended in record time, and the team chorused "we look forward to seeing you tonight at the shoot wrap dinner".

Pandemonia and Snowy reverted to their earlier daywear garb and climbed into the Uber car that transported them to the 5 star Hotel Conservatorium.

There they were met on the Hotel forecourt and given a warm welcome by Nicole Canoy Marketing & Communications Manager and her new assistant Nina Van Spyker, followed by Schilo Van Coevorden the celebrated Executive Chef of Tunes restaurant.

Inside the hotel Pandemonia and Snowy were taken to a secluded area by Nicole and Luara Kemp interviewed Pandemonia for Pup Magazine.

After Luara was satisfied she had enough copy for her article Pandemonia and Snowy took leave and joined Annemarie and Manoah in the Brasserie and Lounge for lobster soup and watched them both devouring the a scrumptious lunch, prepared presumably by Schilo, while Nicole explained to the group "we're fully booked and have a really good return business".

Lunch over Nicole escorted Pandemonia and Snowy through the hotel. P&S were transfixed by the hotels Violin chandelier display.

Outside the hotel's main road entrance, Pandemonia and Snowy found a new ally in the shape of a Dutch motorbike Police officer who kept his eagle eye on the road and zoomed off only when the P&S Uber car pulled up.

Pandemonia and Snowy were now free to be tourists and visit various places logged in the smart phone, accompanied by photographer Peter De Krom. Peter was there to get a reportage picture for a newspaper.

Pandemonia and Snowy's first port of call, Amsterdam's historical 13 Century Dam Square. Here Pandemonia and Snowy were hoping to get insight to the city's alternative culture from street entertainers a common sight in this vicinity.

However No Show. P&S assumed on this glorious sunny day street entertainers had skipped the square, perhaps to lay in the park and soak up the rays. Luckily Peter got his shot there.

The next place on the Pandemonia and Snowy list was Amsterdam Central main line station. However, when they arrived their eye's met with an overwhelming sight, rows upon rows of bicycles thousands of them.

Unfortunately, Pandemonia hadn't packed suitable attire for cycling.

They eventually reached the Central station at 4 minutes to 5pm
A peek time for teenagers, who surrounded Pandemonia and Snowy as they made a mad rush to get home.

Pandemonia and Snowy took their lead and headed back to the hotel to recuperate and dress for dinner.

Fully rejuvenated Pandemonia and Snowy chose very carefully what to wear to Lion Noir restaurant, knowing it ranks as one of the capitals elegant hot spots. Pandemonia went for the eau de nil green with fuschia pink cuffed wrap dress, bag, Vivienne Westwood/Melissa wedge sandals and Just Cavalli sunglasses. Snowy teamed his look with the same daring fuschia collar.

At the Lion Noir, they were met by the dashing owner Serge Rijn, who after he'd seated Pandemonia and Snowy comfortably raced off to fetch the menu.

Pandemonia and Snowy were delighted to meet, Dineke Van Den Heuvel the Fashion Director.
Dineke was the person who spotted Pandemonia and Snowy, when scanning the fashion pages and was instrumental in getting P and S on board for the Pup Magazine shoot.

When the whole crew were seated, Snowy seized the roll reversal opportunity and popped the camera and captured Dineke, Annemarie, Pandemonia, Thamar and Elouise on the razzle.

As midnight approached Pandemonia saw Snowy showing signs of exhaustion after a 15 hour day. So P bid the gang afscheid (which is the Dutch equivalent to au revoir), tucked Snowy under the arm and bundled into a cab back to the hotel.

In the hotel kitchen, staff provided Pandemonia with a bed time hot chocolate drink and wished P&S a good nights rest. In their suite Pandemonia and Snowy too fatigued to talk , curled up in bed & went fast asleep.

NRC next interview by Christel Don

English Google translation

I am the modern Trojan horse

She goes through life in a large latex suit / / And give her true identity / / What do accomplish this British living work of art ?

Saturday, May 17, 2014

She is more than two meters long , fully dressed in latex , often accompanied by her white inflatable dog Snowy . In England they are more than five years, a phenomenon. With its cartoonish appearance she sits front row at fashion shows , and there are few famous Britons not been in the picture with her. Slowly but surely getting the rest of the world in its sights : Pandemonia . This week is a living work of art for the first time in the Netherlands .

While the British style icon orders tea, the question arises how practical such a hot drink when you tightened is in a non - breathable suit and even talking requires effort . "I have indeed occasionally to vent . " Pandemonia have yet to comment about her identity , but the stubble around her mouth and deep voice make it unlikely that a woman hidden under the latex.

You never fail ? Talk about yourself in interviews, why
" If I reveal my identity , it creates noise. I would suddenly instance Joe Blogs are also known as Pandemonia . Then the focus shifts to my personality rather than the ideas that I want to convey. This would be much less interesting. "

What exactly do you want to say with your extravagant looks ?

"I 'm an artist . If you look at me , you will not see me , but my work . After 2000, the focus on celebrities in the media flight. Increasingly, they appeared on the front pages : stories about who they went out , kissed , or where they were spotted drunk . That fascinated me immensely and made me think . What does it say about our society ? Suddenly I thought, why can not there instead of some celebrity is not a work of art at that spot in the newspaper ? A work of art that produces discussion. "

Why was that art Pandemonia ?

" Pandemonia is a catalyst that would continue to go about our culture and the way we shape our society . Dialogue people thinking Actually, as a kind of modern Trojan horse . I copy first role models , stereotypes and myths that dominate the media. Subsequently apply them in their own way and I give them back to the media . "

That sounds a bit vague . Give an example .

" For example I am blond, slightly pinkish blond moment , but a variant of blonde. The media love blondes more than brunettes . That's a stereotype . Just look at classic movie stars , who are all blond. They simply become more obvious . "

So you create an inflatable blonde hair as a sort of parody ?

" Exactly . But I use the same language as the media , I use the same stereotypes , so I then appear through the same media channels back into the picture . "

On the pictures you often find yourself with an inflatable dog . What is its function ?

" Snowy is my icebreaker. Even the most rigid people thaw when I introduce him . That again , happens every time very striking . " It is intriguing and surprising at the same time , interview someone who hides literally from head to toe in a rubber outfit seems influenced by artists such as Andy Warhol , Roy Lichtenstein and Jeff Koons . Where you normally looks for the moment someone shows something of his mask fall , that will not happen quickly at Pandemonia . Anonymity is part of what she wants to wear out. A bigger mystery is why what drives it most of the year to go as a life-sized latex doll life.

" Art in a gallery or museum has been closed. It is in a safe area . I did not hear from museums , but I avoid that context aware . I go directly to the public. "

How do you get money ?

" Sometimes I get sponsored by big brands who invite me to an event . I wear something commissioned . All I do that only if I 'm behind the brand. Furthermore, my travels generally paid by the person inviting me . Or I sell some of my art . "

How important is identity still these days ? "

" We all wear masks . Identity slips from our fingers . Think of how technology evolves . We are not the only ones who decide what happens to our identity . Facebook can be used without permission and pictures on websites can be published so information about us . "

Finally , how do you be such a stereotype ?

" Think carefully about what you read and what you consume . Images you see are always paid by someone . And the reason that someone pay for, because they sell a product . Your whole identity is built around products . Realize that and create your own history . You only live once . "

„Snowy is mijn ijsbreker.

Hoe belangrijk is identiteit nog deze dagen?”

„We dragen allemaal maskers.

Pandemonia
Artist

"I created Pandemonia from mass media imagery, then fed her back to the very same media. She is like a modern day Trojan Horse. On the surface she is the consumerist vision in person; forever young, tall and glossy etc. Under the veneer, the work promotes discourse; a dismantling of that same image. She is an allegory for living in the 21st century and operates in the social sphere. She is democratic because it is the public that made her. There is no institution or public body behind her promoting her. People vote for her with their camera phones. Her image has spread virally around the world."

"In showbiz, identity is ones trademark. Identity is something you wear and one’s humanity is not reducible to a single identity. We wear “masks” to help navigate between public and private spaces. Oneself is more than ones job or any other isolated slice of ones identity."

Snowy was over the moon that morning, when Pandemonia flashed him their invite to the Royal College of Art fashion show.
Pandemonia& Snowy scanned the wardrobe and they opted for metallic blue ensemble, agreeing this would be appropriate for todays event.

In the taxi, their excitement grew to a fever pitch, aided and abetted by a traffic jam, one that caused Pandemonia and Snowy to arrive just in the nick of time.
At the entrance, they were informed the show was about to start, so speedily took their pew, and found themselves sat next to Claudia Croft The Sunday Times Newspaper Fashion Editor and Style Magazine's Head of Fashion.

Claudia gave Snowy a lady like squeeze, exchanged a quick how do you do with Pandemonia, did a snap, and then show commenced.

Designers: Nam Jung Choi, Chloe Orange, Ida Gro Christiansen, Jung Sun.

The runway collections were awash with garments that were tailored, sculptural, knitted and in digital prints, some that were bright vibrant colour palette, to others that had a transparent plastic overlays, that gave updated 60s spin to outfit.

After the show, Pandemonia and Snowy were asked to pose for pictures by some of the guests.
Which they duly did, as well as say hello to fellow artist Duggie Fields and the co-author of 1982 "Sloane Ranger Handbook" Peter York- real name Peter Wallis.

As they were easing their way out, Snowy spied two former heads of fashion of St Martins College of Art, Sheila Brown and Bobby Hilson.
Sheila and Bobby, Snowy whispered in Pandemonia ear, are acknowledged by fashion industry veterans, as the two most influential people in fashion colleges for the past 30 years.
When the late (Lee) Alexander Mcqueen showed Bobby his portfolio, applying to do a pattern cutting course, it was Bobby, who put Lee straight and told him, NO, you have to do a degree course, and the rest is history.

Pandemonia moved from two dynamic women, to another, Wendy Dagworthy RCA Head of Programmes and Dean of School.
Wendy has been the driving force of fashion at RCA since1998, and after last years Pandemonia RCA Lecture had invited P&S to come to the fashion show.

So it was only fitting for Pandemonia and Snowy to thank Wendy and after giving the obligatory farewell air kiss, they soldiered on to the exit.

They were halted yet again, this time by the undisputed icon catwalk fashion photographer Christopher Moore.
Snowy recognised Christopher, who'd been the doyen of Fashion Suzy Menkes photographer for more years than Snowy could count, and in Christopher's youth, he'd worked alongside Cecil Beaton.
Christopher has documented the Haute Couture collections, ready to wear and college shows around the globe since the1960's.
Chris got pally with Pandemonia & Snowy and confessed "I still get a kick out of shooting shows".

On that note Pandemonia and Snowy left feeling fully fashioned out, and got a cab straight home, where they curled up on the sofa & had a catch up on their NBF Ferne McCann latest escapades.

Automatic Art: human and machine processes that make art

4-26 July 2014
GV art,
49 Chiltern Street
London W1U 6LY

It had been a sweltering hot day at home for Pandemonia and Snowy, by 7pm the temperature had dropped and they both felt the need to go out. After flicking through their PV invites and they settled for the London Art and Science gallery GV_Art

At the gallery Pandemonia and Snowy were greeted by GV owner Robert Devcic.
Robert briefed them on 50 years of Automatic Art: human and machine processes that make art, exhibition.

Then Robert whisked them downstairs, to the back gallery space, where he introduced Pandemonia and Snowy, to British Computer artist William Lathham.

Will was all fired up and engaged P&S with his interactive of Human Mutator2 Reflector in time piece of work. Both P&S were captivated by the work.

Pandemonia and Snowy moved from one playful demonstration with Will, to another by British Constructivism artist Peter Lowe.
Peter explained his transformable construction of 5 groups of 5 stainless steel tube with aluminium, an exhibit Snowy wanted to get his paws on.

But the gallery was filling up with guests and Pandemonia needed a escape the heat and find a thirst quencher, so they shifted to the bar, in the outdoor gallery court yard.

There, they encountered the new guard of Science and Art, in the comely shape of Westminster College student Robbie Anson Duncan, (who Snowy discovered Robbie has become a Westminster fashion department muse), Robbie was so taken by Pandemonia & Snowy, he asked to be snapped.

That done, another guest jumped in and asked "can I do a selfie with you" Pandemonia and Snowy obliged him.

Then Pandemonia and Snowy entered back into the gallery & cast their beady eye's over Ernest Edmonds, Four Shaped Forms, Acrylic and digital print on canvas.

Snowy, recognised fellow conceptual artist Alexander Hidalgo. Pandemonia recalled their last meeting was at Freeze Art fair when they were with their two chums Nick Rhodes and his partner Maria Suvio aka Nefer.

Pandemonia and Snowy then took to the stairs, to see ground floor exhibits.
No sooner had P&S reached the ground floor, there were mobbed by a host of fun loving art enthusiastic children, that stormed the gallery and surrounded P&S, with their mum pleading for a pix.

Being children friendly Pandemonia & Snowy consented and then were free to see artist Harold Cohen colourful "Coming Home"

Malcolm Hughes - Relief Maquette

and Nathan Cohen, "Crossing" black white and grey work.

Having seen the work Pandemonia and Snowy were given a hearty send off by Charles Gollop and Robert, who thanked P&S for coming.

As Pandemonia and Snowy waited for their cab, they were set upon by ex Vidal Sassoon master crimper Billi Currie.

Billi's own salon was next door, and tried to enticed Pandemonia in, forever the hairdresser couldn't resist checking out P hair and its superb gloss, bounce and condition.

Pandemonia politely refused, so Billi called out his team and a one of their client's joined them, to see the marvellous tresses of Pandemonia and it's creative hair style.

"My hair, is, all my own work" Pandemonia said as P&S waved everyone goodbye and piled into a taxi for cool comfort of home.

Pandemonia

INTERVIEW BY NIALL UNDERWOOD
PHOTOS BY LOUIE BANKS

http://www.taintmag.com/

Purchase your copy from http://taintmag.bigcartel.com/

Please could you start by telling us a little bit about what you do.

I am a Fine Artist. The role of the artist is a unique position – one that can illuminate and affect society. As part of my artistic production I created a celebrity. I constructed her out of signs and symbols that point to modern day myths. By exhibiting my celebrity “Pandemonia” at events such as fashion shows, product launches and art openings, my image and ideas have spread virally through the media. Pandemonia is an artistic intervention.

So did you ever expect Pandemonia to slip so successfully into the 'front row'

At fashion shows there is a strict hierarchy which dictates who sits where. I had no idea how the 'powers that be would react. When I arrived, the press photographers, the audience and security spontaneously began performing 'Pandemonia'. Pandemonia was photographed by the press pack and placed centre front row.

You've talked before about how Pandemonia allowed you to take your work from the gallery and to exhibit directly within society. Why might this be an important transition for art to make?

My work is about our culture, so I took it directly to the people and into the everyday so as to create a discourse. Going outside the boundaries of the art system has opened it up to more possibilities. It has blurred the lines of illusion ans reality.

If the work was originally exhibited in a gallery it would be labelled and contained. Presenting it in its current format has caused a lot of confusion and kept it alive, It instigates questions rather than completeness. It is a form of détournement.

Technology is changing us. To make the work current it seemed to me to be important to use social media.

I chose to use the celebrity motif partly because people relate to celebrity and because celebrities are 'cross platform'; they translate well through all media platforms.

The work operates on the plain of myth. Myths, identities and ideas of normalcy are perpetuated and reinforced through adverts and the media. I wanted my work placed in situ amongst these. My images now get carried by the very same media, it's been shown in top glossy magazines and television around the world.

"By placing alternate images in the mainstream media an artist can attempt to reveal and affect the mechanisms of how things work."

My celebrity functions differently from the traditional celebrity. If you decode her she is more like a Trojan Horse. Being carried by the mass media allows the work to form an internal critique.

As the wok gets more established I can see it re-entering and working in the gallery setting.

Do you feel that Pandemonia has been received and appreciated as an artwork?

That really depends on the viewer. My work is democratic in the sense that it appeals to all sorts of people and that it allows them to make up their own minds about it. I think it is good to fall in between definitions, finding t5he cracks is one way to reveal something new.

The democratic appeal of Pandemonia is something I found initially interesting about the work. Where contemporary art can often be conceptually elitist, Pandemonia appeals to masses as something else entirely. The very same media who did not recognise Tracy Emin's bed as an artwork appear to have welcomed and promoted Pandemonia as a celebrity.

That is how a Trojan Horse works, it appears as one thing but inside it is something else. Our 'guardians'– those who choose what to report – accepted Pandemonia with open arms. I wanted the work to get good exposure because it relates to what is going on in culture now, not to just the select few. When I constructed Pandemonia I was thinking of semiotics. The signifier and the signified., An equation where the viewer fills in the blanks.

Any advertiser knows that media space is at a premium and that blondes are especially popular with the media. It was a question of realising the moment. SO I fed the media back their own imagery. I made a point of keeping away from exhibiting in the gallery. I showed Pandemonia in non elitist places where it would give the press an easy narrative to write around. She is the perfect blank canvas to hang stories off of.

You touched on the possibility of the work returning to as gallery context. Is this something which may happen soon?

I have various projects in the pipeline. The context, or 'framing', is crucial to how the work is perceived. The work needs to function beyond the walls of the gallery.

Pandemonia takes an obviously female form. Do you conciser this a reflection on the way in which the media expects women to aesthetically please?

Yes and no. For me that is too simplistic an interpretation. Pandemonia is an allegory. I chose to make her female because in advertising the Female is the emblem of our market society. The myths and aspirations of our times are played across her body. Her image is the most effective advertising device known to mankind. Her image sells. Both men and women like to look at her.

I liked what you said about market society; this fe-male-inspired emblem does seem to be used relentlessly, and to advertise such a vast quantity of products. Pandemonia has responded well to this idea, but do you see any way that we, as a society, can move towards this not being the case?

It's a symptom of the capitalist cycle. Advertising functions to create demand where there is none. Demand needs to be created to pay debt, Debt is the driving force behind money creation.

Myth and Image are the motivators behind our desires. By placing alternate images in the mainstream media an artist can attempt to reveal and affect the mechanisms of how things work.
